Welcome to Satellite – the Albany Students’ Association’s magazine for Massey University’s Auckland campus since 1995.
Its focus is as a publication produced by students, for students and as such includes news, reviews, features, articles and entertainment focused on student life at the campus.
The publication is run by the Association, a not-for-profit incorporated society, which subsidises the printing and production costs of the publication in order to provide a critical service to its members.
Satellite is a fortnightly, in-semester A4 scale publication produced on 80 gsm gloss stock, stapled and distributed in print runs ranging from 1,500 to 4,500 throughout the University academic year (March – November).
The current campus population is around 5,500 students with another 500 University academic and administration staff with a make-up comprising 25% international students, 30% mature students, and 15% new intake spread over the course of the year.
Advertising to the campus community is restricted by University policy and Satellite is one of the few media where regular advertisers have the opportunity to solicit and advertise products and services relevant to this market.
If you are interested in spreading your message to our campus community, check out the links below – contact us to discuss developing a package that is appropriate to your needs.
We look forwards to hearing from you.
