THANKS to everyone who has joined us in our Clubs and Sports adventures for 2008! It has been an awesome year! There are still two items left on the agenda – Basketball Finals: 7 November at the Rec. Centre – come along and support our boys! And Clubs’ Grants 19th November.

Watch the notices in the Rec. Centre for up-coming events such as Uni. Games; Cricket Champs and other adventures starting Semester 1.

Uni. Games:

WINNERS OF THE SMALL CAMPUS AWARD.

Netball:

Finished their first season with only one game forfeited.

Snow Club:

Madi Gras Snow trip – First car up the hill and evening games.

USNZ Blues:

15 Massey award winners.

Indoor Soccer:

15 teams entered into the ten week competition.

Tertiary Challenge:

We defiantly had the hottest looking team there! Lincoln and Kahu I hope you are nearly back to 100%!

Cultural Festival:

Our cultural clubs put on a great show!

Uni. Snow Games:

WINNERS OF THE SMALL CAMPUS AWARD. Hottest looking Snow King & Queen and the whole team dropped into an international competition sized Half Pipe!

BNZ Massey University Blues Sports Awards:

24 students awarded.

And the many, many club events:

Snow Club- Quiz night; Ames – Snow planet trip; Braves Baseball – games v Korean team & Central City; Student Life – National Conference; MUKSA – Membership training (this looked like an awesome trip!!!!) MUSCA – tutorials; Unihoc – Tuesday games (this is becoming a Massey tradition!); Fire Club – displays at Orientation; and the list goes on…

Welcome to new clubs: AMESS; Amnesty International; Fire Club; Hong Kong Students Association; Saudi Student Group and Toast Masters.
