Hey did you see the graphics on the last column they were awesome!
Bambi and friends how awesome was that, except yeah, that’s right I am still very much under the impression that the graphics are lame-core.
Look if you are obviously going to label me Emo then surely having happy Disney characters basically negates that point.
My suggestion is that you need to get a picture of Scar from the Lion King, the greatest Emo of them all. Scar the sad fuck did nothing but scheme and usurp the throne, only to have all his plans backfire on him in the end. Oh and on an interesting note, the character was voiced by Jeremy Irons, one of the greatest voices of Hollywood.
See this leads into the subject matter for this issue, which when it is appropriate to cry as a man.
So when Simba cried over the fact that Mufasa had died saving him that was fine because he was a cub and he was close to his dad and they shared amazing good times, also because his dick Emo uncle Scar lied to him and made him believe it was his fault.
But in real life away from sad Disney scenes when is it ok? I mean, as men living in the highly masculine society of New Zealand, which for all extensive purposes is still very much concerned with being ‘manly’ and ‘hard’, when exactly can one be human and express pain in a relative form?
I couldn’t really answer this question myself so a friend of mine came in and wrote a list that should clearly explain when it is ok.
Yondette’s opinion on crying men.
