PRINTMEN – PETER VEGAS

Reviewer: Yondette Larsen

Rating: 9.5/10

Before Printmen, I honestly had no idea who Peter Vegas was. Now after reading this short comic type book, I am keen to read more of his works! With 100 sketches, you will be rolling on the floor laughing, maybe even laughing out loud or laughing your arse off, at his witty, yet simple, jokes revolving around 5 finger prints.
Using various political, social and just general sayings and puns, Peter Vegas cunningly puts together this master piece of what I’d describe as art! Who would have thought your fingerprint could have feelings, personality, and even make fun of your other fingerprints. Printmen contains little jokes that many people of today’s society can relate to. A few about the royal family, about how your fingers feel after a big Playstation™ session and even just colloquial play on words.
Peter Vegas is a kiwi born, Abu Dhabi dwelling genius, well that’s my opinion anyway. After reading this small book I spent the next day making jokes that nobody understood because they hadn’t read this little treasure. RRP $12.99 and well worth the money! Cheap Laugh, I’d say! Maybe it’s the kind of book your guests would appreciate in the bathroom, or something for the collection. Nevertheless I’d definitely recommend Peter Vegas and his interpretation on Printmen.
